– The current L.A. median price is $340,000. We will see $275,000. It is too early to say whether we will see a 60 percent drop from peak to trough but that is possible. You need to remember, the L.A. median price in 2000 was $187,000. $220,000 seems feasible and would actually bring prices in line especially since we are dealing with Japanese style deflation right now. - Consipracies

I’m just glad I am not planning on buying a house anytime soon.
Realtor cold called me today asking if I wanted to sell my house. Said I rent and he asked if I was interested in buying and I replied, “Not in this market.” He promptly ended the call.
I’m looking forward to Win 7….not sure why. Not that there is anything XP can’t do for me….
Windows 7 is actually pretty nice, I installed it on a spare hard drive in the HTPC and it effortless. It even installed the tuner drivers without any help. The new taskbar would get a little getting use to but I could definitely see it helping with Window management.
I’ll install the beta on my main machine and try using it for a little while and do a write up.
