Special Election 2005: Prop 79
November 7th, 2005 at 04:47pm Prop 79 as far as I can tell has the same goal as Prop 78, reducing the cost of prescription drugs to Californians. It is debatable about which accomplishes this the best, so why not pass both and let the best bill prevail. This won't directly help me but it can help others out. So heck, why not.My Vote: Changed to No.

no! Both of these prescription bills suck. 78 is funded by the Drug Companies and is completely voluntary. 79 is just stupid, it says if companies don’t offer a discount they can’t do business with the State. So if someone can’t afford a medicine they are completely denied access to it.
No on both 78 and 79.

I know I changed my mind the night before and voted no on both of them. Also ended up voting no on 80.
